ADKINS TO PLAY PRESIDENT'S DINNER

Country star TRACE ADKINS will perform a 45 minute set at the 2007 President's Dinner in Washington, D.C. on 13 June (07).

Adkins will play in front of U.S. President George W. Bush and 5,000 guests including members of the Senate and House Of Representatives at the Washington Convention Center event.

The 45-year-old musician will meet Bush and sit at the head table.

The 2007 President's Dinner is expected to raise $7.5 million (GBP3.75 million) in campaign funds for Bush's Republican party.
