HASSELHOFF'S EX PLEADS 'NOT GUILTY' TO FENDER BENDER CHARGE

DAVID HASSELHOFF's ex-wife PAMELA BACH has entered a 'not guilty' plea in relation to a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge stemming from an incident in California earlier this year (07).

The 43-year-old - who filed the plea on Wednesday (30May07) - is accused of reversing her car into another vehicle in North Hollywood on 22 January (07), and driving off after inspecting both vehicles for damage.

She was tracked down by police after a witness took down her license plate number.

The actress' attorney, Peter Knecht, says he expects the charge to be dismissed because they are in the process of working out a "civil compromise".

Knecht also stressed there was no drugs or alcohol involved in the incident.

Bach has been charged under her married name of Pamela Hasselhoff, but went back to using her maiden name following her divorce from the former Baywatch star last year (06).
