MALMSTEEN SELLS FERRARI ONLINE

Rocker YNGWIE MALMSTEEN has sold his 1983 Ferrari GTS Quattro Valvole in an online auction - for $25,100 (GBP12,550).

The guitarist spent thousands customising the sports car with a leather interior and a new audio system before putting the vehicle up for sale on eBay.com earlier this month (May07).

According to website Blabbermouth.com, Malmsteen fell in love with the Ferrari while he was recording his Eclipse album in 1989 in the showroom of Prestige Imports in North Miami Beach, Florida. He walked into the top-end car dealership, paid cash and drove the car out. It is not known why the rocker sold the car.
