OSBOURNE SLAMS GIG TICKET PRICES

OZZY OSBOURNE is delighted this year's (07) Ozzfest tour will allow fans to see the show for free - and insists other artist's high ticket prices are ridiculous.

The rocker's wife Sharon struck a deal earlier this year (07) with sponsors to cover the cost of the summer gigs, but the Black Sabbath frontman can't believe how the freebie was masterminded.

He says, "I think it's absolutely superb.

"I have no idea how they have managed to make it pay, but they have. Look at prices these days... I mean, who wants to pay GBP500 ($1000) to see Barbra Streisand in London?"
