KNOWLES + SHAKIRA REMAIN QUEENS OF EUROPE

BEYONCE KNOWLES and SHAKIRA are enjoying a second week at the top of the European singles chart as their Beautiful Liar remains the continent's most popular song.

Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend climbs a place to reoccupy the number two spot, while Timbaland's collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, Give It To Me, falls a place to number three.

At four is Furtado again, with Say It Right, and Gwen Stefani Feat. Akon's The Sweet Escape is at number five.

Meanwhile, Michael Buble has shot to the top of the European albums chart with Call Me Irresponsible.

Furtado's Loose sits at number two, and Lavigne's The Best Damn Thing falls to number three.

Mika remains at number four with Life In Cartoon Motion, while Arctic Monkeys' Favourite Worst Nightmare drops two places to be this week's number five.
