Celebrities SIMON COWELL, JK ROWLING and SIR RICHARD BRANSON are among the famous names who have pledged money for the safe return of a four-year-old British girl missing in southern Portugal since last Thursday (03May07).
Madeleine McCann is though to have been abducted from the Algarve resort where she and her parents were on holiday - and the stars are hoping their reward money will encourage anyone with information to come forward to Portuguese police.
Music mogul Simon Cowell - who offered GBP50,000 ($100,000) - says, "I heard about the terrible situation here in LA and I hope she is found safe and sound."
