THE GAME ARRESTED

Rapper THE GAME has been arrested by police in Los Angeles after allegedly making criminal threats while officers searched his home.

The hip-hop star - real name Jayceon Taylor - was detained on Friday (11May07) but released on $50,000 (GBP25,000) bail, according to the county sheriff's department.

Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Martha Garcia said the arrest was related to an incident that occurred in February (07).

KABC-TV caught the moment the 27-year-old was driven off in a patrol car on camera. The Game stuck his tongue out and said, "I want to say that I'm not guilty, and I love California."

It's not the first time the rapper has been in trouble with the police - he was arrested in New York City in November (06) over allegations he pretended to be an undercover police officer to persuade a cab driver to run red lights.
