EDDIE MURPHY TO SET SAIL FOR FANTASY ISLAND?

DREAMGIRLS star EDDIE MURPHY is in negotiations to revive cult TV series Fantasy Island - as a blockbuster.

The funnyman is attached to star in a big-screen adaptation of the TV show - in the role Ricardo Montalban made famous in the late 1970s and early 1980s, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the TV series, Montalban played the mysterious Mr. Roarke, who, with the help of a dwarf sidekick, helped to make dreams come true for visitors to his island.
