DUPRI EXPLAINS POLICE TRAFFIC STOP

Rapper JERMAINE DUPRI has come forward to explain why he was detained in the back of a police car in Los Angeles on Wednesday (09May07).

The star was pulled over in his Lambourghini sports car and questioned by cops, leading to online speculation as to the reason for the stop.

However, Dupri tells AllHipHop.com, "Just to set the record straight, I was pulled over because the police said my exhaust pipes were too loud, I had tinted windows and platinum motor plates. Nothing more, nothing less."
