BAKKER ASKS FANS TO PRAY FOR HER AS SHE PREPARES TO DIE
Beloved US televangelist TAMMY FAYE BAKKER is close to death as she battles lung cancer, revealing her physicians have stopped treatment.
In a post on her website, Bakker has asked her fans to pray for her as she nears the end of her life.
The brave celebrity writes, "The doctors have stopped trying to treat the cancer and so now it's up to God and my faith."
Bakker, who was first diagnosed with cancer in 1996 and learned the disease had returned to her lungs in 2004, reveals she looks "like a scarecrow" and now weighs a shocking 65 pounds (143.3 kilograms).
She adds, "I need God's miracle to swallow."
