THOUSANDS ATTEND MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR DON HO

Thousands of fans gathered in Hawaii on Saturday (05May07) to remember the life of late singer DON HO.

The admirers paid their respects at the Waikiki Beach service, while the star's children sang and an Air Force guard presented a US flat to the retired pilot's family.

The Tiny Bubbles singer's ashes were then shipped into the ocean and scattered at sea.

The crooner passed away in Hawaii last month (14Apr07) after suffering heart problems.
