LAWLESS CUTS SHORT SWEDISH SHOW WITH CHEST PAINS
W.A.S.P. rocker BLACKIE LAWLESS was forced to cut short the group's show in Karlskrona, Sweden on Saturday (28Apr07) after suffering chest pains.
Lawless, who cancelled a series of European festival shows last summer (06) after he was diagnosed with an abnormality in one of the arteries leading to his heart, took a 10-minute break in the middle of the show and returned to the stage to close the set and tell fans he was feeling unwell.
He was then taken to a local hospital for observation. No serious problems were discovered.
After his heart problems were diagnosed last July (06), the rock star stated, "I have been extremely lucky to be able to avoid a problem that could have been potentially life threatening years down the road if I hadn't been fortunate enough to be diagnosed early."
