BRITNEY'S BUS PULLED OVER BY POLICE

BRITNEY SPEARS almost never made it to her comeback show in San Diego, California on Tuesday night (01May07) when her tour bus was pulled over by highway police.

Motorbike cops stopped the vehicle as Spears and her entourage made their way from Los Angeles to the House of Blues venue for the 15-minute show - after receiving a series of complaints from motorists about the paparazzi vehicles tailing the bus.

The police officer who stopped the bus had no idea the pop superstar was onboard at first. He told photographers who tried to get shots of the traffic stop to stop taking pictures.

A California Highway Patrol spokesman, "We were getting calls from civilians about paparazzi keeping traffic back from the bus."

Police then escorted Spears to the concert venue.
