BECKHAMS THREATEN LOOKALIKES WITH LEGAL ACTION

DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM have threatened legal action after a pair of professional lookalikes scrounged a sports car, jewellery and VIP restaurant bookings by posing as the couple.

Andy Harmer and Camilla Shadbolt, who accepted a $17,550 (GBP9,000) pearl necklace and test drove a $585,000 (GBP300,000) Lamborghini, were being filmed for Sky One television show The Beckhams Go To Hollywood.

But the real-life megastars are unhappy about the freeloading couple, and worried the pair could damage their Stateside reputation.

A Sky One spokesman says, "We have received a legal warning on behalf of the Beckhams. But we intend to screen the programme as planned without further editing."
