LABEOUF STEERS CLEAR OF DRUGS AFTER DAD'S ADDICTION

Actor SHIA LaBEOUF insists he will never turn to drugs after watching his father battle with heroin addiction during his childhood.

As a youngster, the 20-year-old star didn't have a close relationship with his father Jeffrey LaBeouf, but now he claims his troubled dad taught him some valuable life lessons.

He says, "I'm sure there was a time when drugs were really fun for my dad, but after you have a kid, the party's over.

"I got to grow up in a situation where drugs were demonic. To watch your dad go through heroin withdrawal is something that would keep you from doing any of that yourself."
