Australia's leading musicians HOODOO GURUS, SCREAMING JETS and THE WHITLAMS played a rock concert in Sydney today (22Apr07), to protest against the government's controversial industrial relations law.
Political group the Australian Union Movement organised the Rockin' For Rights event, designed as a protest against the proposed legislation, which critics claim takes away the rights of small businesses.
The rally, which also saw performances from Missy Higgins, You Am I, and Something For Kate, was attended by more than 10,000 people at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
