TIMBALAND THE TRANSATLANTIC CHARTTOPPER

TIMBALAND has scored a chart double in the UK and the US, with his latest single GIVE IT TO ME.

The song, featuring the vocals of NELLY FURTADO and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, knocked previous UK number one The Proclaimers' (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles off the top spot on Sunday (15Apr07).

The track also reached the top of the US' Billboard Hot 100 on Thursday (12Apr07).

DJ/producer Mark Ronson's mish-mash single Stop Me is a new entry in the UK charts at number two.

Meanwhile, Kings Of Leon's Because Of The Times disc continues to reign the UK album charts.
