Canadian pop star AVRIL LAVIGNE has hit out at 'celebrities' who are known only for 'being at Hollywood clubs or dating people'.
The SK8ER BOI hitmaker, who has lived in the limelight since the age of 17, hates people like Paris Hilton who abuse their "20 seconds" of fame.
Lavigne, 22, says, "I think it's funny that there are people who are famous who haven't done anything. They're just famous for being at Hollywood clubs or for dating people.
"The thing you have to remember with that kind of fame is it's 20 seconds long. So really, I feel kind of bad for them."
