LOCKHART DIES OF STROKE

WILD AT HEART actor CALVIN LOCKHART has died of a stroke in the Bahamas. He was 72.

The Nassau-born star passed away on 29 March (07) from complications of a stroke, his widow JENNIFER MILES-LOCKHART confirmed to the New York Daily News.

Lockhart started his acting career in the theatre after originally moving to New York City to study engineering.

During his four-decade long movie career, he starred in 1970s "blaxploitation" films and also played COLONEL IZZI opposite EDDIE MURPHY in comedy classic COMING TO AMERICA.
