Pop star GEORGE MICHAEL was disgusted by the British media's treatment of ROBBIE WILLIAMS after his former band TAKE THAT reformed.
The BACK FOR GOOD foursome reunited last year (06) after a 10 year hiatus - 11 years after the departure of the ROCK DJ star.
While Take That's comeback has been a huge financial and chart success, Williams has been struggling with poor sales of his latest album RUDEBOX and a subsequent spell in rehab to treat an addiction to caffeine and prescription medicine.
Former WHAM! star Michael says, "Take That came back with a perfectly acceptable record and good for them.
"But I can't believe the way the media have treated Robbie Williams over this.
"It's their dream come true for Take That to have come back and knocked a bit of stuffing out of him."
