WAHLBERG TO TURN GOLF AREA INTO A PLAYPARK

MARK WAHLBERG's golf game is about to take a big hit - he's having to dig up the practice area he built at his home in Los Angeles to create a playground for his young kids.

The golf-mad movie star turned his home into a bachelor's paradise but fatherhood has forced him to rethink a couple of things.

He says, "I have a little golf practice area, but that's gonna be gone soon to put in a swing."

But Wahlberg's determined to keep the other toys he has collected over the years, which have helped him turn his home into a fun fortress.

He adds, "I built a gym at home. I wanted a screening room, a gym and an office so I didn't have to leave except to go to the supermarket."
