CARMEN ELECTRA has got America's lesbians all fired up after telling friends she's planning to drop a bombshell at one of the year's most anticipated gay gatherings.

The sexy single, who split from husband DAVE NAVARRO last year (06), is set to perform with her burlesque troupe THE BOMBSHELL BABES at the Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs, California at the end of the month (MAR07) - and rumours persist she'll use the four-day lesbian festival to announce her romance with rocker JOAN JETT.

The potential shocker is set to make this year's long weekend the biggest ever - because lesbians want to be there if one of their leading ladies 'comes out'.

An event insider tells American magazine Star, "Carmen and Joan are planning on enjoying all the fun the weekend has to offer, and they'll be making a very clear statement to the world by attending together."

Reports of the couple's lesbian romance started circulating last year (06) when Electra, real name TARA PATRICK, spent time with Jett at the 2006 Dinah Shore Weekend.

Jett cast Electra as a bisexual temptress in her 2006 video A.C.D.C.

A source says, "They've been dating since before Thanksgiving (NOV06). They don't co-habitate but they do spend a lot of time together.
