WINEHOUSE SCRAPS LOS ANGELES SHOW

British singer AMY WINEHOUSE cancelled her Los Angeles show at Spaceland last night (20MAR07) after falling out of her dress at a concert the night before.

Winehouse thrilled California fans on Monday night (19MAR07) when she briefly popped out of her dress during a sold-out show at the Roxy Theatre, but she wasn't about to repeat the wardrobe malfunction last night.

The cancellation is the latest in a string of scrapped shows for Winehouse - she also pulled the plug on several London shows at the beginning of the month (08MAR07) and failed to appear for a showcase at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas on Saturday (17MAR07).

It is not known why the Spaceland show was cancelled last night or if it's linked with her infamous heavy drinking, which has started to overshadow her pop talents in her native England.
