OSMOND SHOCKED AT FANS' DETERMINATION
US singer DONNY OSMOND was shocked by the lengths some fans went to for the chance to meet him in the 1970s - one admirer even posted herself to the former teen idol.

The singer will never forget his time at the top of the pop charts when he and his bandmate brothers were inundated with weird and wacky fanmail.
The 46-year-old says, "A girl tried to mail herself to me. Seriously, there was a human being inside a box at the post office.
"There was a lady who was a huge fan of my brother Jay so, she thought, being a drummer, he'd like some chicken drumsticks and sent some through the post.
"We had so much mail that we'd left it all in our living room when we went on tour. We were gone for three months. It stank so bad when we got back, we even had to replace the carpet. Ants everywhere, oh it was a mess."
