WILLIAMS' DAD: MY SON IS 'DONE WITH REHAB'

The father of singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS insists his son "is done with rehab".

British star Williams completed a stint at Meadows Clinic in Tuscon, Arizona for caffeine and prescription pill addiction earlier this month (MAR07), and entertained his dad PETE CONWAY during a phone conversation yesterday (10MAR07) - something Conway believes is an indicator the troubled singer is close to recovery.

Conway says, "I always know how Robbie is by his humour, and it's back. He was making jokes down the phone to me yesterday, they are not quotable, very private and a bit rude.

"So I would say he is on the mend. He's not going back to rehab - he's done, he's finished."

Conway will travel to LA this week (begs12MAR07) to visit his son.

He adds, "I am looking forward to seeing him more than you could know. I always have faith in him, he's a good lad and I love him."
