LOVE SUED OVER 'UNPAID' REHAB BILL

Actress/singer COURTNEY LOVE is being sued for allegedly failing to pay a California rehab clinic her $181,000 (GBP92,820) bill.

The former HOLE star was ordered into the Beau Monde treatment centre by a judge after violating probation conditions. She arrived there in August 2005.

Beau Monde officials claim Love paid $10,000 (GBP5,130) on entering the facility but have had to repeatedly ask the 42-year-old to settle her outstanding bill.

The clinic has filed a suit against Love at Orange County Superior Court. It states Love stayed at Beau Monde for three months and adds: "Although demanded multiple times by plaintiff, orally and in writing, none of the balance stated has been paid."
