This year the SXSW festival opens on March 9, 2007 in Austin, TX. In preparation for this year's SXSW, here are some preview interviews with the filmmakers of some of the films that will be featured.
EVERYTHING'S COOL filmmaker interview

EVERYTHING'S COOL follows the struggle of a group of very dedicated,
sometimes a bit depressed, but always compassionate and passionate
global-warming messengers. Their journey turns into a snapshot of what
might very well become known as "those last years of U.S. global
warming denial - that halcyon time when America finally 'got it' and
then had about three minutes to join the rest of the globe in dealing
with it."
THE UNFORSEEN filmmaker interview
CLIP DESCRIPTION:
iklipz's Tamara Krinsky interviews director Laura
Dunn about her documentary "The Unforseen", which is featured in the
"Lone Star States" section of SXSW 2007. The interview includes clips
from the film featuring Robert Redford.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The American Dream of owning a house with a white
picket fence goes head to head with environmental sustainability in
Laura Dunn's lyrical and beautifully crafted documentary about he
controversial saga of one community's struggle to come to terms with
business developments on a beloved natural landmark. Executive
produced by Robert Redford and Terrence Malick.
THE SIGNAL interview
CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Interview with the cast, directors, and producer
from the new film "The Signal," which explores what happens if every
cell phone, radio, and TV in your city suddenly broadcasting the same
mysterious signal over and over.
