BORRELL DISMISSES RAZORLIGHT SPLIT REPORTS

RAZORLIGHT frontman JOHNNY BORRELL has played down reports the band is on the verge of splitting up following an onstage bust-up in France earlier this month (FEB07).

The AMERICA singer and bassist CARL DALEMO came to blows midway through a performance in Lyon - but Borrell insists the incident has been exaggerated in the press.

He says, "We had an argument on stage but what it was about was neither here nor there.

"The fact is that it was totally blown out of proportion by all the papers. I haven't alienated anyone in my band.

"I don't know why people seem to think I've had such a difficult year - this is the best gig in the world. Getting to tour the world is something you dream about as a kid and I still love doing it."
