CLASSIC GARLAND ALBUM RELEASED ON CD

JUDY GARLAND's landmark 1959 album THE LETTER is to be released on CD for the first time with exclusive new recordings.

DRG Records bosses opened the vault containing Garland's recordings for the album and allowed producers to remaster them for the March (07) release.

The CD will feature four bonus tracks, rare single versions of songs meant for radio play in 1959, and a lavish booklet that includes rare artwork and detailed liner notes by the author of the book JUDY GARLAND: THE DAY-BY-DAY CHRONICLE OF A LEGEND.

The new tracks include alternative vocals of THE BEAUTIFUL TROUBLE and THE RED BALLOON.
