British pop stars TAKE THAT have pledged their support for troubled former bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS, who is in rehab in the US seeking help for addictions to caffeine and prescription drugs.

The singer left the band under a cloud in 1995 before going on to forge a successful solo career.
He snubbed the chance to reform with the rest of the group last year (06), but remaining bandmembers - who picked up a Brit Award for their comeback album last week (14FEB07) - insist they are concerned about their former friend.
Singer MARK OWEN says, "I'm so worried about him. I'm gutted and devastated things have ended up like this. I think he should come back to the UK. When I heard about him checking into rehab, I felt really sad - I just want him to get happy again. I'll do anything I can to help him. If he wants me to see him, I'll be straight on that plane."
HOWARD DONALD adds to Reveal magazine, "I've been calling him loads. I'm upset some people think it's our success that's made him depressed."
