UGLY BETTY STAR SLAMS MARRIAGE REPORTS

LATEST: UGLY BETTY star AMERICA FERRERA has slammed reports she is marrying longtime boyfriend RYAN PIERS WILLIAMS.

America Ferrera at the 59th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards, held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel. Los Angeles, California - 03.02.07

Media reports claimed Williams proposed last month (JAN07), with the couple quietly planning their wedding.

Ferrera's representative, CARRIE BYALICK, rubbishes the reports, insisting her client "is not engaged."

The couple met while they were attending film school in California.

The 22-year-old received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy on 16 January (07) and her series Ugly Betty was named Best Comedy Series.
