KELLEY FOUND VIDEO BEACH BUNGALOW FOR ROMANTIC PROPOSAL

Romantic singer/songwriter JOSH KELLEY had the perfect place in mind when it came to proposing marriage to GREY'S ANATOMY star KATHERINE HEIGL - the video location where the two met.

Kelley got down on bended knee in the Venice Beach, California bungalow used in the promo for ONLY YOU, which featured Heigl as his love interest.

But the proposal didn't come without hitches - the singer spent hours trying to find the place again, and then had to persuade the bungalow's owners to let him stage a romantic moment there.

He explains, "It took me forever to find that bungalow, man. I mean I probably walked miles and miles until I recognised it.

"When I got there, the kids that owned the house were just potheads. They found out that I shot a video there and they tried to charge me a thousand dollars.

"I said, 'Guys, I need to use your place in two days to ask my girl to marry me. Is that OK?' They were like, 'OK, man, sure.' I brought them $100 in cash to thank them for keeping the bungalow exactly the way it was when the video was shot."

Kelley then set about turning the beachfront bungalow into the most perfect romantic setting: "I set up a table with a nice white tablecloth on a round table with roses, wine, chocolate cake, the music that we listened to when we first started dating, everything."

That was last summer (06) and Heigl said yes. No date for the wedding has been set.
