MARTINEZ DUMPED MINOGUE 'OVER THE PHONE'

LATEST: Pop star KYLIE MINOGUE was reportedly dumped by boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ during a phone call on Friday (02FEB07).

The 41-year-old actor was reportedly spotted with a mystery brunette in Los Angeles just hours after ending his four-year relationship with Minogue - who is currently in Mexico - and the woman allegedly spent the night with him at his hotel.

An onlooker tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "You wouldn't have thought he'd just split with the love of his life. This beautiful woman jumped into this car and they sped off. He looked very comfortable and happy - not remotely upset."

The pair issued a statement on Friday (02FEB07) saying, "Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple.

"They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The media's false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both. The two remain very close friends."

Martinez had sparked rumours of a split with the SPINNING AROUND star in December (06) after he was spotted with Israeli model SARAI GIVATI and LOST star MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ.
