Director: Brad Bird
Cast: Patton Oswalt, Brian Dennehy, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo, Ian Holm
Synopsis: After taking audiences on incredible journeys to the worlds of cars, superheroes, fish and toys, only the amazing storytellers at Pixar Animation Studios (“Cars,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles”) could create an entirely new and original world where the unthinkable combination of 5-star restaurants and rats come together for the ultimate fish-out-of-water tale.
In the new animated-adventure, RATATOUILLE, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family’s wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely - and certainly unwanted - visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy’s passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.
Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef. Directed by Academy Award®-winning Brad Bird (“The Incredibles”) and co-directed by Academy Award®-winning Jan Pinkava (“Geri’s Game”), RATATOUILLE is slated for release on June 29, 2007.

He flees to Paris to find his uncle has died but his beautiful and mysterious Japanese widow, Lady Murasaki (Gong Li) welcomes him. LANCE BASS' gay lover REICHEN LEHMKUHL is glad ISAIAH WASHINGTON's 'faggot' outburst has turned the public against the actor - because it will hopefully prompt people to think twice before using the 'f' word.
REICHEN LEHMKUHL at Power Premiere Awards honoring the 10 Amazing Gay Women in Hollywood held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Beverly Hills, California - 12.11.06
The former model has written a new book about his nightmare experiences as a homosexual in the military, and he believes the Washington controversy will further help people understand what gay men have to put up with.
Lehmkuhl says, "It (Washington's controversy) dumps a lot of emotion on me. I think it brings the issue to light. A lot of people learn, when you use this word now, it's not OK."
Washington has officially apologised for his use of the 'f' word at the Golden Globe Awards last week (15JAN07), admitting, in a statement released last week (18JAN07), he needs help.
The controversy first came to light last October (06) when Washington referred to gay GREY'S ANATOMY castmate TR KNIGHT as a "faggot" in a heated on-set row with co-star PATRICK DEMPSEY.

Troubled country star KEITH URBAN has opened his heart about his decision to enter a rehab facility to curb his alcoholism in a moving new video message.
Keith Urban performing at German TV show "Wetten Dass...". Friedrichshafen, Germany - 20.01.07
The candid footage, posted on his website, comes just a week after the Aussie singer confirmed he had completed treatment at the Betty Ford Clinic in California.
In the video, Urban, who checked in to rehab last October (06) after telling fans and friends he was struggling to stay sober, reveals, "There was no big, cataclysmic event that happened right before I went in.
"(Just) a lot of small things that were happening in my life, and a lot of small moments that were starting to accumulate that were telling me very loud and clear that I was a long way from my programme of recovery, and they were making my life unmanageable."
Urban admits the timing of his rehab stint couldn't have been worse: "It was far from an ideal time to go into treatment. While I was in there... I had my birthday... my record was released, I missed Thanksgiving, and all the holidays."
The singer, who is married to actress NICOLE KIDMAN, reveals he had planned a 30-day stay at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, California, but his time there was extended.
He explains, "Thirty days became 60, 60 days became 90, and, with each week that passed, I found myself really learning to surrender."
Urban concludes the video with a special message to his wife, adding, "(She) stayed extraordinarily strong, and loving, and my friends and family were there. It's just been really overwhelming."

LATEST: Members of animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) disrupted auditions for JENNIFER LOPEZ's online reality show on Friday (19JAN07) to protest her use of fur.
An event held at a Macy's Department Store in Downey, California, to promote the star's latest perfume, Glow After Dark, turned nasty when activists posing as contestants hurled abuse at judges.
Several young women at the event were vying to become a 'Glow Girl' and win an appearance on Lopez's online project, GLOW AFTER DARK SHOW.
Two members from PETA disrupted the proceedings when they took to the stage and pretended to audition, but, instead, launched into a tirade against the singer/actress.
While onstage, one of the PETA protestors told judges, "I think the most important thing about being a diva... is not only being sexy and being stylish, but not wearing real f**king fur!" She then began chanting, "J.Lo, fur ho!"
The stunned master of ceremonies quickly marched the intruder off the stage.
PETA has frequently targeted the singer for wearing fur and using it in her clothing line. Lopez was not present at the event.

LATEST: Disgraced GREY'S ANATOMY star ISAIAH WASHINGTON met with leaders of the Gay + Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) yesterday (22JAN07) to address his recent homophobic remarks.

Knight went public two days later, revealing his co-star had called him a "faggot" during a heated row with castmate PATRICK DEMPSEY last October (06).

British network Channel 4 has been hit with another reality TV racism row, after a contestant on SHIPWRECKED described black people as "really bad" during an episode broadcast on Sunday (21JAN06).
Channel 4 show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER created controversy in both Britain and India over allegations Bollywood beauty SHILPA SHETTY was subjected to a torrent of racial abuse after entering the programme's sealed compound earlier this month (JAN07).
And now 18-year-old LUCY BUCHANAN has thrown Channel 4 back into the dock with her explosive comments advocating slavery, which were broadcast at 6.25pm local time.
She said, "I'm for the British Empire and things. I'm for slavery... My mind is completely open to different cultures - but I just do not think they should bring (black people) to Britain."
When Buchanan was confronted by other contestants on the show - which maroons young people on a desert island for three months - about her comments, she replied, "I'm afraid you have (a racist) here."
A spokesperson for Channel 4 insists, "It was very clear to the viewers that the others found those views offensive. She does change her mind through the course of the show.
"I'm not making excuses, but she's been in boarding school since she was four years old."

THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED
Cast: Kevin Smith, Maria Bello, Darren Aronofsky, Kimberly Peirce, Kirby Dick
Synopsis: A breakthrough investigation into the MPAA film ratings system and its profound effect on American culture. 'This Film Is Not Yet Rated' was kept under wraps by the filmmakers during more than a year of research into the MPAA's rating practices. Director Kirby Dick interviews filmmakers, critics, attorneys, authors and educators. Ultimately, Dick tries to uncover Hollywood's best-kept secret - the identities of the ratings board members themselves.
