British singer/songwriter JAMES MORRISON insists he is 'broke' despite selling 1.5 million copies of his debut album UNDISCOVERED.
The 21-year-old claims he could barely afford a new winter coat and had to fly economy class when jetting off for a Christmas break.
He says, "It takes about two years for the royalties to come. Other than the coat I just bought, I can't afford anything else.
"I went on holiday at Christmas but flew economy."
