BUSH PLAGUED BY BUGS ON SET

ONE TREE HILL star SOPHIA BUSH was thrilled to be part of THE HITCHER remake, but drew the line when it came to shooting with spiders.

The 24-year-old was ready to do whatever filmmakers needed during the graphic horror shoot, but couldn't quite keep her fear of bugs under control.

She explains, "You wanna throw me in a car and blow it up, fine, but the spider, I was not having it. Luckily for me, when they get the shot set up they figured out that unless there is webbing on my face, it won't have anything to hold onto. So they put spiderwebs up the side of my face and they have it crawling at me at full speed.

"I looked at our director and said, 'You better get this shot fast, because if it hits my face, I'm running and I'm screaming and I'm going to screw-up the shot and I'm sorry.'"

Bush soon learned to be especially careful with her creepy co-stars, because they are carefully protected by laws ensuring that they are treated humanely.

She adds, "You can't touch them! That's the thing! It crawls on your face, you can't swat it off, because if you kill the bug, you're going to get sued."
