URBAN COMPLETES REHAB IN CALIFORNIA

LATEST: Country star KEITH URBAN has been officially released from the rehabilitation facility in California, where he was being treated for alcohol addiction.

The singer and his wife, actress NICOLE KIDMAN, were spotted out on Monday night (15JAN07) at a private Golden Globes after-party in Los Angeles, hosted by members of talent agency CAA.

Urban's representative confirms the singer has completed his stint in rehab, adding the country star isn't wasting anytime jumping back into public life - he's jetting off to Germany for promotional appearances this week (18JAN07).

The 39-year-old star checked into rehab in October (06) after confessing he was struggling with an ongoing drinking problem - and he has been in counselling ever since.

Urban will make his first concert appearance in Chicago, Illinois next month (FEB07), and he's planning a run of club shows in Britain and Germany in April (07).

He's planning a major arena tour in his native Australia and North America this summer (07).
