GYLLENHAAL SHOWCASES SINGING SKILLS

JAKE GYLLENHALL showed off his singing skills on US comedy show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE at the weekend (13JAN07) when he donned a dress and belted out a classic from the DREAMGIRLS soundtrack.

The hunky actor opted to sing YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ME in a floor-length gown and 1960s soul diva wig - as a tribute to the gay fans who loved him in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.

Gyllenhaal was a big comedy hit on the skits show, also playing a German house music star, and mountain bike guide writer and evil tyrant DR SCIENTIST, who was covered in aluminium foil and killed enemies by shooting them with his pet cat's laser vision.
