BEE GEES TO PERFORM WITH BLAIR

Surviving BEE GEES ROBIN and BARRY GIBB are planning to make music with British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR.

Blair is currently staying in Miami, Florida, as a guest of Robin Gibb, and will perform with the STAYIN' ALIVE stars at a New Year's Eve (31DEC06) bash at the singer's GBP5.1 million ($10 million) mansion.

The Prime Minister played guitar in band UGLY RUMOURS while studying at Oxford University in the 1970s, and Robin Gibb's wife DWINA believes Blair's musical skills would be perfect for a festive jam session.

She says, "Tony is a great fan of the Bee Gees and loves to play the guitar.

"Who knows whether there will be any jamming sessions going on? But it's a place and a time of celebration.

"I'd say it's pretty likely if Barry brings his guitars over."
