NAS' EX SUED FOR PLAGIARISM

Rapper NAS' former girlfriend CARMEN BRYAN is being sued by a writer who claims he wrote her book IT'S NO SECRET: FROM NAS TO JAY-Z, FROM SEDUCTION TO SCANDAL - A HIP-HOP HELEN OF TROY TELLS ALL.

TANNELL DAVIS alleges he wrote the book when it had a working title of SEX, DRUGS AND HIP-HOP... OH, AND DID I MENTION LOVE? in a lawsuit filed in Columbus, Ohio Federal Court.

It's No Secret... recounts Bryan's life story and her part in a feud between Nas, with whom she has a daughter, and SHAWN 'JAY-Z' CARTER. The tell-all book reveals details of her affairs with various rappers, including both Nas and Jay-Z, writes website AllHipHop.com.

Davis alleges Bryan plagiarised his Sex, Drugs And Hip-Hop... after the book had been written and copyrighted, before selling her version to publisher Simon + Schuster under a new title.

Davis is asking for an undisclosed amount in damages.
