BILLY JOEL'S DAUGHTER ATTACKS STEPFATHER IN NEW SONG

BILLY JOEL's daughter ALEXA RAY has blasted her estranged stepfather PETER COOK in a new song - criticising him for the pain he's caused her mother CHRISTIE BRINKLEY.

The singer/songwriter, 20, is on the verge of signing to her first label and one of the first tracks she'll record is the tune NOW IT'S GONE, which she wrote after discovering Cook cheated on her mother with 19-year-old DIANA BIANCHI.

She says, "I knew all along that he wasn't the greatest person.

"I thought for a second that maybe I shouldn't write it (song), but then I just let it come out."
