Cult rocker WILL OLDHAM will swap music for comedy when he takes to the stage as a stand-up comedian later this month (DEC06).
The star, better known as BONNIE 'PRINCE' BILLY, will perform a short routine at comedy club Weeds in Chicago, Illinois on 17 December (06) as part of a series of shows sponsored by his record label Drag City.
A number of would-be comedians will take part in the shows alongside professional funnyman KUMAIL NANJIANI and experimental musician AZITA.
Drag City's RIAN MURPHY admits he doesn't know what to expect from Oldham's gags.
He says, "(Oldham) has a very expansive vision and there's no telling what he might consider funny".
