FOXX TAKES DREAMGIRLS MAGIC TO FANS ON POST-CHRISTMAS TOUR

JAMIE FOXX has found a novel way to promote his new movie DREAMGIRLS - he's going out on his first major concert tour with SNOOP DOGG and AMERICAN IDOL star FANTASIA BARRINO.

The Oscar winner will hit the road on 26 December (06) - the day after his new movie is released nationwide in America, and he has post-Christmas treats in store for fans.

He explains, "We're gonna hit 30 cities, we're going to do the comedy and the music.

"There's going to be some surprise spots by Snoop if he's not incarcerated. If Snoop is out of jail, we're going to do our thing."

The hastily-arranged tour will begin in San Diego, California on 26 December (06) and wrap up in St Louis, Missouri in March (07). En route, Foxx will perform on New Year's Eve (31DEC06) at Oakland, California's Oracle Arena.
