FAWCETT SAYS THANKS
Ailing actress FARRAH FAWCETT has thanked her fans for supporting her through her recent cancer battle in a heartfelt new statement.

The CHARLIE'S ANGELS star penned a letter to "My Friends Around The World" and handed it to US TV news show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD yesterday (06DEC06) - a day after her publicist confirmed the actress had completed cancer treatment.
Fawcett was diagnosed with a rare form of anal cancer earlier this year (06) and began chemotherapy treatment in Los Angeles in October (06).
She writes, "All your cards and letters have meant so much to me during what has been a very difficult time in my life. So many of you wrote that I had inspired you in one way or another over the years. Well, now you have done the same for me.
"Your words of encouragement have helped keep me strong during these last six weeks. And now that I have completed my treatments, I am happy to say that the hardest part is over.
"Of course the passage of time will be the most accurate test, but I am starting to feel better and I am looking forward to going back to work after the holidays."
Farrah's best friend CRAIG NEVIUS appeared on Access Hollywood on Tuesday (05DEC06), revealing that among the actress' well wishers were ELTON JOHN, ROBIN WILLIAMS, HUGH HEFNER and WILLIAM SHATNER.
