Dave Meyers is directing the new film, which tracks the terrifying cross-country journey of Grace (Sophia Bush) and Jim (Zachary Knighton), two college students who are tormented by the mysterious hitchhiker John Ryder, a.k.a. The Hitcher (Sean Bean).
