LATEST: Pop star LANCE BASS' ex-boyfriend REICHEN LEHMKUHL has nothing but praise for the former 'N SYNC star after splitting up with him.

The model and actor taped an interview with former catwalk star TYRA BANKS' daily talk show in America last week (ends01DEC06), just days before Bass revealed he'd split from his partner.

Noble Lehmkuhl, on the show to talk about his new book THIS IS WHAT WE'LL SAY, didn't discuss the break-up, but wanted to express his pride in his ex, who revealed he was gay and dating this summer (06).

Lehmkuhl said, "Lance has done a great job, he's done it all on his own, he's made the decisions all on his own and I really couldn't be more proud of him.

"He took control of his life and he took control of the truth and that's amazing."
