HOODOO GURUS PLOT FIRST US TOUR IN 13 YEARS

Reformed Australian rockers the HOODOO GURUS are to tour America for the first time since 1994 next year (07).

The BITTERSWEET stars' itinerary is still being worked out, but members DAVE FAULKNER, MARK KINGSMILL, BRAD SHEPHERD and RICK GROSSMAN are desperate to play at the annual South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas in March (07).

The group, who built up a strong following on the US college circuit in the 1980s, reunited in 2001 after a four-year hiatus, and are currently recording an album for a 2007 US release.
