RICHARDS CAUGHT UP IN NEW RACE RIDDLE

LATEST: Disgraced comedian MICHAEL RICHARDS has been outed as a possible anti-Semite just days after he hit the headlines for a racist rant onstage in a Los Angeles comedy club.

The former SEINFELD star, who outraged America when news of his unsavoury remarks made at the Laugh Factory last Friday (17NOV06) went public, is now being reminded of another race rant from earlier this year (06).

Comedy fans CAROL OSCHIN and JP FILLETT claim they were offended by remarks the comic made during a stand-up routine at Los Angeles club The Improv in April (06), but thought nothing of them - until now.

The couple has now gone to news website TMZ.com, who broke the news of Richards' latest rant after obtaining video from his Friday night performance, to pour further shame on the comedian.

Oschin and Fillet reveal Richards allegedly launched into an anti-Semitic rant when a Jewish heckler interrupted his show.

Oschin tells TMZ.com that Richards screamed, "You f**king Jew. You people are the cause of Jesus dying," before storming offstage.

Richards new publicist, HOWARD RUBINSTEIN, has confirmed that his client did make the derogatory comments about Jews, but insists it was part of his act.

Rubinstein says Richards told him, "I'm not anti-Semitic. I was playing a role and poking fun at the rednecks."
