LOCAL SHOPS GO CRAZY FOR CRUISE

Store owners in Bracciano, Italy are going TOM CRUISE crazy this weekend (18-19NOV06) as they prepare for the actor's upcoming marriage to KATIE HOLMES.

KATIE HOLMES and TOM CRUISE

Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27, will wed in the lakeside town's 16th century medieval Castello Odescalchi later today (18NOV06).

In anticipation of the ceremony, EMIDIO FALCIONE, who owns the London Polo clothes shop, has devoted his four windows to the happy couple.

Falcione has spelt out the word 'maverick' in tribute to Cruise's breakout movie TOP GUN and has placed a jacket inspired by the film in window.

He enthuses, "The wedding will be great for business. We haven't sold any more of the flight jackets than usual."
