TIPPIN PLANS THANKSGIVING TREAT FOR US TROOPS

Country star AARON TIPPIN will serve up a Thanksgiving treat to US troops in Afghanistan next week (beg20NOV06) when he flies out to perform for them.

The singer will depart on Saturday (18NOV06) and return at the end of the month (27NOV06), and admits he feels it's his duty to do his bit to thank the men and women of the military stationed in the Middle East.

He says, "Those are the real working men and women. If I can repay even an ounce of what they are doing for me, my family and my country by taking their mind off the day-to-day risks... I can't think of a better thing to do with my time."
